Rugby League – Under 12’s

To trial for a position in the Zone Under 12’s Rugby League team, students firstly need to be nominated by their school to attend zone trials. Zone team selection will then be undertaken through one or more zone trials at (venue and date to be confirmed). Selected Lansdowne Zone team representatives will then be required to attend team training sessions, leading up to the Regional Championships.

• Students who are turning 11 this year, will need permission to play up in the Under 12’s team.
• Students can not attend the Under 11’s as well as the Under 12’s Regional Rugby League Championships in the same year.

Students who are interested, will need to speak with their school PSSA convener, who will receive information from the Lansdowne Zone Convenor regarding this event.y

At this stage, Lansdowne Zone does not have a Rugby League Convenor and therefore a Lansdowne Zone team will not be sent to the Regional Rugby League Championships. Please contact your SCHOOL sports convenor if you believe that your child is a chance of being chosen for the Sydney South West Regional team and you would like them to enter as an individual entrant and join another zone team on the day of the Regional Championships. They will then contact the Individual Entrants Zone Contact who will make contact with the Regional Convenor to make enquiries.
