Lansdowne Zone Primary Schools Sports Association (PSSA) comprises of 12 affiliated schools, with these schools being Cabramatta,  Canley Vale,  Carramar,  Chester Hill North,  Fairfield,  Fairvale,  Lansvale,   Lansvale East, Old Guildford,  Villawood North,  Warwick Farm  and  Yennora Public Schools. Lansdowne Zone Primary Schools Sports Association is situated within the Region of the Sydney South West (SSW) School Sports Association.

 

The objects of the Lansdowne Zone Primary Schools Sports Association are:-

  • To promote and organise inter-school competitions within the Zone in all sports decided by the Association.
  • To give as many students as possible the opportunity to represent their school.
  • To ensure that all participating students are taught the fundamentals of the chosen sporting activity.
  • To encourage good sportsmanship and pride in one’s school.
  • To offer incentive to all students in the Zone to encourage them to participate in competitive sport.
  • To give all participating students (and teacher coaches) the opportunity to represent their Zone, Region and State.
  • To encourage active participation of school staff as coaches, officials, referees and umpires within the Association.
  • To offer, wherever possible, appropriate training for staff to be able to confidently organise sporting opportunities.
