Zone AFL Trials
The Metro-West trials are to be held on March 4th 2024 at Greenway Park, Hoxton Park.
Lansdowne Zone falls within the Metro-West Region. Girls will be chosen from designated areas around NSW to form a team. These selected teams participate in a final championship in Albury on 20-21 May where a NSW team is selected. They’re looking for girls who show ability or have an interest in AFL to try out for the team. There is a $10 cost and registration closes on Feb 29th.
Australian Rules Football
To trial for a position in the Zone Girls and Boys AFL teams, students firstly need to be nominated by their school to attend zone trials. Zone team selection will then be undertaken through one or more zone trials at (venue and date to be confirmed). Selected Lansdowne Zone team representatives will then be required to attend team training sessions, leading up to the Regional Championships.

Students who are interested, will need to speak with their school PSSA convener, who will receive information from the Lansdowne Zone convenor regarding this event.
